About

Hi, I’m Rostyslav Fridman, a cloud solutions architect and engineering lead based in Frankfurt.

I’ve spent 15+ years working across DevOps, cloud architecture, and networking. These days I lead an AWS engineering practice and spend most of my time on cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and increasingly GenAI systems, multi-agent architectures, RAG pipelines, and getting AI/ML to play nicely with enterprise systems. Before my current role I was at AWS Professional Services, where I worked on automotive, government, and retail transformations. I’m certified at professional and specialty levels across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and I occasionally speak at conferences on DevOps and cloud engineering.

What this blog is about

This is where I write about the things I’m building and learning. Expect posts on cloud architecture, infrastructure, automation, and the occasional side project that has nothing to do with my day job but scratches an itch, like reverse-engineering my own DNA data.

I lean toward writing that shows the work: real problems, real tradeoffs, and the details that don’t make it into polished documentation. If a post helps you avoid a rabbit hole I already fell into, it did its job.
